A Bald eagle photographed today on the coast of Vancouver Island. I looked for 'active' nests but found only old ones. It looks like they are not fixing old ones or building new ones yet. However they were lots of mature eagles and they were vocal. Mating is about to start.

Cette abeille du genre Nomada fait partie des "abeilles coucou".
Dépourvue d'organes de récolte de pollen, elle parasite les nids d'autres espèces d'abeille où elle pond ses œufs dont les larves résultantes dévoreront réserves de pollen et larves de l'hôte pour se développer.
