Some news from #HolosSocial development. The latest release moves media processing to the device. Videos are transcoded locally before upload. Users can store media on their own S3 or WebDAV server, and the resulting URLs are used directly in #ActivityPub activities. The relay server handles neither transcoding nor media storage. Each user brings their own resources to the #Fediverse.

I'd like to thank @giovaelpe for his thought provoking comment on a somewhat random post I made recently. I thought that it deserved to be explored further and our latest blog post is the result. Age verification doesn't fix any of the social media platform issues that we're trying to protect our youth from. And it likely won't work. So let's think differently about how to achieve a desired result.

Ich habe mal eine Frage bezüglich des ativityPub Plugin in Wordpress

Im obrigen Beitrag habe ich das "follow" als Feld mit eingegeben, was auch angezeigt wird aber auch "rections", nur sieht man davon leider nichts auf der Webseite.
Muss ich da noch irgend wo einen Haken setzen, das Reactions auch angezeigt werden?

Apparently there's a group called the 分散型SNSユーザー有志(Decentralized SNS User Volunteers). It seems to be a separate decentralized SNS group from Tyazuki's 分散型SNSの会(Decentralized SNS Gathering) and Nawashiro's Decentralized SNS Meetup@continue5645@misskey.io. This "Decentralized SNS User Volunteers" group appears to be run by someone called $[ruby もちもちずきん Mochi-Mochi-Zukin]. By the way, my group @KawaneRio@misskey.io is the Misskey VRChat Group @MiVRC@misskey.io. Wait, that's even more niche than decentralized SNS...
