Actually, these are mostly based on my New Year resolutions, and not all of these will be applicable to you, but you will surely find one or two to add to your new year resolution as a desktop Linux user.

@itsfoss Just one gripe with the article: Please don't tell people to learn "Docker". The technology is called "containers". Then tell people to ignore the overengineered Docker implementation and use Podman and co. to run your container images instead. You can still pull your container images from Docker hub using Podman.

@itsfoss scheduler in Linux is traditionally cron and at cmdline by at cmd. No kernel expertise was ever needed. There are better subjects for up skilling than kernel experiments . Important are quick wins for upskilling . No academic issues for starters
