Today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #BlackAndWhite (bird which are mainly black and white) (I'm kinda going with a dark feather, that can be bordering black, also focusing on the plumage and not the legs/beak) #Birds #BirdsOfBlueSky #Photography #Nature #WildlifePhotography #EastCoastKin

Lesser Adjutant Stork

a large bird, looking towards the photographer with a frog in its beak - the belly is towards the photographer - and the head towards the stork. the frog is caught across the neck, and two of its hind legs are dangling.

the bird is large with black wings, and grey belly, it has a white head, with tuft of hair (resembling some evil mad scientist) - blue eyes and pale coloured beak.

there is green grass all around it, and near its leg you can see soil where it has dug to find the frog.

Black Stork

the bird has black (somewhat iridescent) and white feathers - and the beak and its legs are red in color

It has one of its feet out as it takes next step, and it is focusing in the pool to find next meal.

a white raptor with black shoulder feathers and greyish wings. it has red eyes, black beak and yellow talons. It is perched atop a dry branch, you can see some other foliage out of focus framing the shot...

A bird sitting on stone, with one leg holding the other, between green grass. there is stone (river bank) behind.

Bird description from iNat: The woolly-necked stork is a medium-sized stork. The iris is deep crimson or wine-red. The stork is glistening black overall with a black "skull cap", a downy white neck which gives it its name. The lower belly and under-tail coverts are white, standing out from the rest of the dark coloured plumage. Feathers on the fore-neck are iridescent with a coppery-purple tinge. These feathers are elongated and can be erected during displays.
