This is wrong and unethical. Yes, poets should be writing about Gaza and in defense of Palestinians, but do not publish two books of poems about them because that just shows that you do not understand what it means to be human. You are not giving a voice to the voiceless, you are usurping their own worlds. Let Palestinians speak for themselves. They are more than able to do so. Dear "poets", never be this assuming or pretentious, it is unhuman. What this "poet" is doing is a form of colonialism. Don't we know this by now? Publish Palestinians instead. Let this be a teachable moment for those of you too inexperienced to know the difference. Not that this writing is young or has any excuse.
