Favorite bit of iron. A dockside scene, probably made in Pennsylvania, ca. 1720-30. I think it shows Philadelphia’s port, but hard to tell.



Really clever perspective in the warehouses piling up on one another. Would love to find out more about the mould’s carver, but it’s anonymous. They were certainly trained in Germany.
