The four sisters.Carved in African Sandlewood. Only the faces have precisely carved features.
The base is infinished except for the removal of bark
Carved in Mozambique they are sold by souvenir vendors at many of the South African Tourist spots.
This carving is slightly unusual in that the heads have head scarves. In this example one of the heads does not have a head scarf. The missing head scarf is probably a mischance.
