A Silvereye or Tauhou (Zosterops lateralis) spotted at Glenorchy Lagoon Wildlife Reserve, New Zealand on 25 Dec 2025. A common bird that colonised New Zealand from Australia in the 1850s. Related to the Swinhoe’s White-eye (Zosterops simplex) found in Singapore.
