I'm the head of Friends of Bees, a working group in Watertown Citizens for Peace, Justice, and the Environment. We educate about and advocate for our native bees and pollinators.

I live in Somerville and teach courses GIS and Food Systems at Tufts University. My only vehicles are two bicycles, which I use year-round.

Other interests include Deep Canvassing, local food, removal of invasive weeds, various crafts, and building community resilience.
