Coming from Literary Studies, I am now head of the Digital Humanities Lab at the University of Hamburg. My interests are digital annotation, text analysis, visualization, of course literature, and narratology.

The DH Lab at the Leibniz Institute of European History (IEG) marries the development of digital methods to the activities of digitally supported research on European history. In addition, the DH Lab has an impact on the work of the research areas at the IEG through the support of source criticism, heuristics, and analyses by means of digital tools and methods.
