Trees, shrubs, and grasses in the foreground hold the colors of gold, tan, and brown. The sky is blue ,with contrails, and streaks of color introduced by sunlight on the camera or case. Grizzly Ridge is in the background. Some sections of the park remain closed following the South Rim Fire in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. This camera has been returned to service and is providing images.

Actually, those added sky colors could be pixelation... not sure. Image from today in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park (Grizzly Ridge). Image credit National Park Service. #nps #nationalpark #colorado#interpretation #photography #landscapephotography #pixel #pixelation #publiclands

Camera image from Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park (Grizzly Ridge). The image includes a light foreground of gold and tan with a blue sky containing intriguing cloud formations and a wavy rainbow colored section (above and to the left of the central tree) which is perhaps pixelation? If anyone knows about the effects exhibited in this image, please do let me know - thank you. And thanks to the National Park Service for providing these images!
