Während die weisse Tracht (Gi) traditionell Erdung und Disziplin symbolisiert, negiert das Modell die physikalischen Grundgesetze durch reine Willenskraft – oder eine sehr diskrete hydraulische Unterstützung, die kunsthistorisch noch debattiert wird.



Besonders hervorzuheben ist das «fallende Band» des Gürtels, das als vertikaler Kontrapunkt zur rigorosen Horizontalen des Körpers fungiert. Es symbolisiert die Verbindung zur Erde, die das Subjekt längst hinter sich gelassen hat. Die Komposition im Garten deutet auf eine Rückkehr zur Natur hin, wobei die gelben und blauen Lampions im Hintergrund als astronomische Fixpunkte einer ganz eigenen, privaten Galaxie fungieren.
