Fassadenansicht des Palazzo Rucellai in Florenz. Im scharfen Licht der Mittagssonne treten die Linien der Fassadengliederung besonders deutlich hervor. Im Linken Bilddrittel wird die Fassade von einem Nachbargebäude überlagert. Die horizontalen Linien der beiden Fassaden scheinen sich in dieser Perspektive fast zu treffen, so dass quasi ein abstraktes Bild entsteht.

Fassadenansicht des Palazzo Strozzi in Florenz. Das Gebäude ist von schräg unten aufgenommen, so dass die Linien der Fassade stark fluchten und eine dramatische Perspektive entsteht. Im dunstigen Gegenlicht der Mittagssonne scheint sich der hintere und obere Teil der Fassade allmählich aufzulösen. Im linken Bilddrittel verdeckt die Ecke eines Nachbargebäudes den Palazzo. Darauf zeigt ein Schild den Namen der Straße: Via de Tornabuoni.
