Copper BBs reflecting everything, in all directions, including light from above, light from above that bounced off the bb next to it, darker parts of neighbor bbs that are in shadow thus giving all bbs a dark outline that your eye tends to instead view dark lines winding through glistening orbs.

On Exoplanet 09774 these seeds have gained the name of Walking Apples. Plants don’t walk, (well, except for Triffids) but these ones do, sort of. Once dropped from the branch, the ‘legs’ move the seed along the soil upwards of 10 meters. There are no birds to spread the seed on this planet, which is probably why they walk. The seeds mostly trundle along at night, although we don’t know why at night, or how they know it’s night, although the nights do normally last 37 earth hours.

Sitting nestled in the leaves of a green bush there is a round green ball, that looks like a small apple in this photo. Hanging down from this seed/flower thing are tendrils. They look like octopus arms with tiny green hairs and dangle down like from a jelly fish. They look like they could be legs for walking. But only on a different planet. Maybe.

Strange master lock from years ago when the kid and I decided to crack it open to see what the "magic" was. If I remember right you opened it by sliding half-round disk between different card symbols (heart, club, spade, diamond). There were plastic guides, metal springs, some odd cam like contraptions and more metal. We kind of figured out general behavior, but had let out too much magic and could not get it back together.
