After the rains, out came the sunshine, & the insects with it 馃尀馃悵
Here's something new: a common tachnid (Tachina fera; Igelfliege in 馃嚛馃嚜).
I only managed to get one quick shot before it flew off, but I think it shows enough detail to classify it as T. fera rather than T. ferox, which I photographed earlier in the summer.

For comparison, here's one of the pictures of T. ferox I took in mid-July. You can see that its black abdominal stripe is zigzagged, while the one on T. fera is straight & narrows towards the end (also likely ruling out T. magnicornis).
The legs of T. ferox are black, while those of T. fera are browner, as in my first picture.
