So when using Bluetooth on Linux and Android with random video players, they're all are surprisingly good at playing the video behind the audio to keep them appearing in sync with the Bluetooth latency. I wonder if Bluetooth has actual methods to measure the latency or if Bluetooth drivers just hardcode a "sensible delay" to try and keep it in sync

@nytpu my headset app has a setting for it, in audio mode, there's noticeable delay, like a whole second or so
@nytpu There are actual measurements and settings for this:
I used to have problems with audio sync over Bluetooth, but nowadays it seems to work pretty well by default. (Except for things that are very real-time by nature, like editing video in Kdenlive - that just doesn't work with Bluetooth, I always need to get my big wired headphones for that.)
@kianga Oh yeah, it only works if it readily can "preroll" the audio, hence how mystifying it is to me that people want to play games with Bluetooth headphones since that's generated on-the-fly
@nytpu boosting 'cuz I wanna know too. it seems really really good for awhile now
