Lots of gunzels out today on the network getting photos of the last HCMTs to run through the City Loop (at least in the near future).

The problem is that there appears to be a big inconsistency for photography in what we've been told by the Government and what is happening on the ground.

It was made clear from November 2025 that everyone was welcome and encouraged to get into the Metro Tunnel and take as many photos and videos as we want. But for whatever reason photography in the City Loop remains prohibited.

This makes even less sense when you consider somewhere like Melbourne Central / State Library where the stations are closely interlinked.

A confusing and frankly unnecessary inconsistency.
