Seriously... Get to know the candidates rather than just looking for the R or the D. Just voting blue doesn't get us where we need to be.

@cwebber If it isn't ID verification at an OS level, this might actually be one of the best solutions.

Computers should be under the control of the user, NOT of random corporations or the state.

I don't care if this law is probably going to not even work as intended because of shoddy implementation. The state may be tech illiterate but it DOES know how to punish people.

This is what happens in an unavoidable way in the current cyberspace concept and architecture (And its digital systems architectures and concepts) that is "not natively aware" of citizenship.

With our alternatives, such abuses would not exist. And age verification useless because citizenship native awareness.

@cwebber I've come around to the anti-libertarian position, call it, maybe... the common-good position, or the socialist position, that the number and capability of predatory for-profit corporations that are operating in cyber space justifies the creation and very aggressive enforcement of laws for protecting minors.

Imagine if the US surgeon general didn't have those warnings about cigarettes, and if tobacco companies were still allowed to advertise on T.V., and place physical ads near schools
