@essjayjay @MelissaBearTrix I would not take that bet. *Possibly* not ableist if they have direct personal experience being disabled and discriminated against, but racist is almost a gimme. 😒

TERFs see trans people as being 'broken' and needing to be 'fixed'.
It is very also very common for TERFs to believe that people being trans is a result of being autistic.
Likewise, they do tend to see autistic people as being 'broken' and needing to be 'fixed'.
Whichever way you slice it, that mindset is most definitely ableist.

It ain't a coincidence that ABA, a pretty common "training" for autistic kids is basically identical to conversion therapy.

No, it cannot be that "their child" is different from what they expected, it must have been an external damage, a harm done to THEM through their property
It cannot be that the kid is actually who and what they say they are.
