When I make a cup of tea, I'll sip it, letting it slowly cool, until it reaches the right temp, upon which I shout "OPTIMUM TEMPERATUUUUURE!" and neck the rest of the tea in one go. Doesn't matter if I'm on my own or in public. I just got into the habit of doing it and it stuck.
