Un petit oiseau au plumage principalement beige caramel avec des touches de blanc et de brun plus ou moins foncé, présentant un fort bec gris bleuté de granivore. Il est vu de profil orienté vers la gauche. il est posé sur une fine branche d'acacia dénuée de feuilles, derrière lui, le fond d'image est flou avec un beau vert lumineux et des taches rouge brique. L'image est lumineuse, ensoleillée, bien contrastée et colorée.
