“Tioga Crest, Evening” — Tioga Crest in sunset light, reflected in a small pond.

This ridge lies a bit east of the actual Sierra Nevada Crest, just outside of Yosemite National Park’s eastern boundary. The peaks along the park boundary are magnificent examples of the rugged, rocky landscape that characterizes the highest parts of the range. But the ridge in this photograph is different. Blauer Himmel mit weißen Wolken und einem Kondensationsstreifen spiegelt sich in ruhigem Wasser. Ein Streifen Wald in der Bildmitte ist zugleich die Spiegelachse. Das Foto steht auf dem Kopf, was nur an den leichten Verzerrungen in der oberen Bildhälfte erkennbar ist, die durch die feinen Wasserrippel verursacht wurden. // A blue sky with white clouds and a con trail is reflected in calm water. This is one of the white polyester sculptures in the sculpturegarden of Arcen castle in the Netherlands. One of them shows his reflection in the water. The exhibition is called "Urge" . They are created by visual artist Fons Schobben. Unten und oben.

La #lune, la verra-t-on aussi bien dimanche soir ? Les prévisions météo pour ce moment d'#éclipse changent régulièrement (averse, hier soir, peu nuageux ce matin… Pourvu que ça ne change plus et que ce soit une bonne prévision).
Hier soir, à Tréguennec, j'ai patienté quelques minutes sans trop bouger en espérant que les bécasseaux viennent se positionner entre moi et la lune et son #reflet.

Photographie en couleur (majoritairement bleu sombre) prise en début de nuit sur une plage de sable à marée basse. Dans le ciel relativement dégagé, à cet instant, la lune aux trois quarts pleine est bien visible, de même que son reflet sur le sable humide où quelques dizaines d'oiseaux limicoles, sans doute des bécasseaux, explorent le sable à coup de bec pour trouver leur nourriture. La ligne d'horizon est pratiquement à mi-hauteur de la photo, avec à gauche, le cordon de galets en haut de la grève et au pied de la dune, et à droite, les vagues de la mer, encore bien agitée, qui génère un air chargé d'embrun.. Il va falloir que je "rince" mon matériel photo... non non, pas sous le robinet...
