It's hilariously wild to me how much more reach my Pixelfed posts have over Instagram.

I just started a new Instagram (for work, I have Meta, but you need it to reach out to influencers and stuff), and there are three likes on about 40 photos.

I just uploaded two new photos to my Pixelfed, and BAM, likes are FLOODING IN because I use the proper hashtags.

IG is straight-up garbage for creatives and photographers.

Shooting flowers is a true passion of mine.

It challenges me because everybody has taken a picture of a flower at some point and everybody knows what flowers look like. That's why taking a unique and interesting picture isn’t always as trivial as it seems.

But I love it 😉

I also can't resist the temptation when my peonies start to blossom - that's why they have become an annual project of mine, and every year, I try to make it a little bit different.

Have a good one ✌🏻

Another film photo from a road trip last year: We move on to Ávila, with historic walls surrounding the city.

These medieval fortifications are the most complete and best preserved in Spain.
