Another film photo from a road trip last year: A Meiroá, Esgos, Galicia. Abandoned houses in a tiny aldea.

The term 'aldea' often represents a small rural community that relies heavily on local resources. According to official figures, there were 8 inhabitants in A Meiroá in 2011!

Shooting flowers is a true passion of mine.

It challenges me because everybody has taken a picture of a flower at some point and everybody knows what flowers look like. That's why taking a unique and interesting picture isn’t always as trivial as it seems.

But I love it 😉

I also can't resist the temptation when my peonies start to blossom - that's why they have become an annual project of mine, and every year, I try to make it a little bit different.
