About 1km down the road after seeing the eagles, was an abandoned township. Some broken crockery along the creek is all that remains - already well picked over.

But this broken Vegemite jar stood out - I've never seen one before. Searching indicates it dates somewhere between 1935-45.

With a rather heavy amount of editing, I managed to pull some details of the Wedge Tailed eagles when they were circling overhead. They were quite some distance away in adverse light.
