The summit of Mt. Odake. Realization of the day: Hiking a Japanese trail can involve a surprising amount of climbing! 😅

View from the summit of Mt. Odake. To the left of the image stands a marble(?) pillar, inscribed with "Mt. Odake" in both English and Japanese. In the far distance, a mountain range stretches out. Unfortunately, due to the overcast weather, I couldn't see Mt. Fuji, which would have been visible behind the mountain range on a clearer day.

A bit of harder #hiking (the uphills) / #trailrunning (the rest) near the end of the trip (16.2km / 1610m elevation gain). With many kilometers/day already in the legs, this probably wasn't the cleverestest of ideas. 😅
