I accidentally had the camera on the balcony to shoot the sunset when @jssfr mentioned an Aurora alert. And there it was, a nice flare at 3 AM, right after the clouds cleared up!

So the autumn aurora season has started. Not as grand a display as advertised, but I caught this red/purple glow with very subtle hints of rays, anyway.
