Morning under Kilimanjaro ☕🏔️
Short night — sleep only came after 2 a.m., and I was up again before 7. Cold water only, a cold shower, then up to the rooftop for breakfast.
With coffee in hand, I watched Kilimanjaro stand clear this morning, free of clouds, sharp and quiet against the sky. A view like that doesn’t need much else.
Another coffee now.
Today is about numbers and decisions: bus prices, timetables, places to stay. My visa in Tanzania is coming to an end, so every choice matters a little more.
Soon I’ll head into town and face the “mzungu price” — where everything suddenly costs more just because you’re white.
For now, I’ll finish this coffee and let the day unfold. ☕

Daypack on the table next to my laptop, finishing the blog post I started yesterday. No AC — just open windows, open doors, and fresh air.
Card payment failed, but I found just enough cash for the café and some street food on the way back.
