A white throated sparrow has a big splash of white on its throat and its head has dark lines on it that make it look like it's wearing an old fashioned bicycle helmet. There are also yellow splashes around its beaks. The rest of it is brown and black with a gray chest and belly.

This is also a white throated sparrow, but a different morph. It kind of looks like a house sparrow, but which a big patch of white on its throat.
