OS level age verification. Why do state governments tyrants (both Democratic and Republican run) feel they can parent our kids better than parents?

Unfortunately I know better than most how the internet hosts the absolute worst of humanity. Most of what I have seen I will never repeat.

I use this knowledge to teach my children about how to navigate the internet safely, introduced off the shelf technical controls to allow age appropriate access, and keep an open line of communication and trust. Is it perfect, no, but it is good enough for our family.

Government should back off and stop trying to legislate morality and to raise my kids.
