Out for a walk at Wychbury hillfort, it's been a while since I did this. Today seemed to be about tree roots, and the hills Ents watched stoically as I took their pictures. A Butterfly even posed for me, quite beautifully.

Good day!

What a day yesterday!

Discovered that I鈥檇 lost 4 lbs. I then walked all the faster with my trekking poles in the cooler weather.

Caught fire on the backstory novella & added 2,585 words. My fingers were flying.

Still managed to edit a Book4 chapter.

I returned to the novella again yesterday for a short time, while also editing a short chapter.

Let鈥檚 see if I can repeat that success.

The wimpy heatwave breaks today. I鈥檝e hardly noticed it except that now I can think about at least a short hike.

Good day!

This is supposed to be our last day of heat. Truthfully, it hasn鈥檛 been much of a heatwave.

It doesn鈥檛 heat up until extremely late in the day. I don鈥檛 have AC, yet my place has remained cool.

No complaints from me, but I鈥檒l also welcome the cool weather.
