From the looks of it, these slots were likely originally doorways into the station, but now the area in front has been glassed over with a concourse added with desks, ticket machines etc, so this "outside" part is now actually "inside". Choose your portal...

Ich mag die grünlich schimmernden gestreiften Glaselemente auf dem zentralen Bahnsteig des Rostocker Hauptbahnhofs, die das Tageslicht in die unterirdischen Gänge und die Straßenbahnhaltestelle bringen. Ich hatte sie schon mal von unten gezeigt. Hier sind sie von oben und in schwarz-weiß.

I like the greenish shimmering striped glass elements on the central platform of #Rostock Central Station, which bring daylight into the underground passages and the tram stop. I had already shown them from below. Here they are from above and in black and white.
