Bei ihrer Eröffnung 1886 noch ein Sinnbild moderner Zeiten, ist die Standseilbahn in #Lugano zwischen Oberstadt und Kai inzwischen Geschichte, die Trasse von Grün überwuchert. Aber die steile Treppe daneben wird weiterhin genutzt als Fußweg, jetzt für die Fitness - moderne Zeiten heute.

Opened in 1886 as a symbol of modernity, the funicular railway between the upper town and the quay of Lugano is now history, its track rotten and overgrown. But the steep flight of stairs next to it is still used as a footpath, mostly for fitness - modern times of today! Description: Looking up.
