This is a landscape format photo taken during the winter in a wetland area. A curved portion of a pond's shoreline is profiled with snow still present on the ground at the edge of the pond, and on a portion of the ice surface. The ice is starting to melt with open water in view in the deeper section of the pond. Ripples can be seen on the open water as there was some wind that day.
