From the base of the photo rising upward to the three quarters up level is a jet black and choppy sea (Sea State 4). There is a clear and crips horizon where the water meets the distant coast ahead, perhaps 10km away. To the right of centre is a small commercial fishing boat, underway, leaving a small white wake behind and heading away from the camera. The view is oblique with the stern and port side in view. The boat is about 10m long, with a black hull, white superstructure and a small sail above the stern. There is a rounded, grey rocky outcrop to the right of the fishing boat. In the far distance, 10km or more away, are two snow covered, steep and rocky mountain ranges. One closer, on the right side and a further more distant range on the left. Above is a sky of broken cloud cover.
