I was driving around the most beautiful spots of Val d’Orcia. This house is known by many of us. A very popular spot and yet, very quiet. It was a day full of contrasts. The weather was changing rapidly and all the time. The rainy clouds were coming and going, so were the sunrays. I took many shots as with each moment the light was different.

As the sun sets over the chalk cliffs of Étretat to the east, they take on a beautiful orange hue.
The low-angled light highlights the alternating layers of dark flint and yellowish marl that form these cliffs.
