There was quite a #thunderstorm last night!

I set up the camera, but forgot to tune for underexposure. In the end, a handful of the 100+ shots were white, but I got a few overexposed but acceptable shots. Some extreme #Darktable corrections of exposure, filmic RGB and base curves gave me seven usable pictures. The result is a lighten-blend of those.

Wasserstufe in der Hoëgne


Die Hoëgne ist ein Flüsschen in der belgischen Provinz Lüttich. Sie ist ein rechter Zufluss der Weser, einem Nebenfluss der Ourthe. Sie ist 30 Kilometer lang und gehört zum Einzugsgebiet der Maas.

Strudel in der Hoëgne


Die Hoëgne ist ein Flüsschen in der belgischen Provinz Lüttich. Sie ist ein rechter Zufluss der Weser, einem Nebenfluss der Ourthe. Sie ist 30 Kilometer lang und gehört zum Einzugsgebiet der Maas.


Ein etwa 12 Kilometer langer Rundwanderweg entlang der Hoëgne und der Statte, zwischen Hockai und Solwaster, gehört seit dem ausgehenden 19. Jahrhundert zu den beliebten Wanderstrecken der Region.

I accidentally had the camera on the balcony to shoot the sunset when @jssfr mentioned an Aurora alert. And there it was, a nice flare at 3 AM, right after the clouds cleared up!
